How do I stage my home?


DETERMINE who your ideal buyer is and decorate with them in mind. Think of your neighborhood, price range, and home size.
CLEAN & DE-CLUTTER Make sure every nook and cranny is squeaky clean and fresh smelling. Be sure to take notice of areas that people will touch, such as doorbells and light switches. Remove all non-essential items, and neatly organize the rest.
ACCENTUATE & UPDATE focal points, and minimize oddities. Be sure all décor is in harmony with the style of the home. Remove dated wallpaper, old drapes, fake plants, doilies etc.
NEUTRALIZE Think nice hotel or quaint bed & breakfast, here. The home should look warm, inviting and livable. Remove personal photos and any décor that is distracting or overly personalized.
